He has represented many injured workers in both the Workers Compensation Tribunal and the South Australian Employment Tribunal, some have settled prior to the hearing whilst many others have proceeded successfully to be concluded at Trial.
Aaron embraces the challenge of helping people through the very real struggles they face day to day brought about by a workplace injury.
He understands that many injured workers, and in many cases, their families, depend on his advice, rely on his expertise and judgment when it comes to the preparation of their claims and the strategy concerning the settlement negotiations when dealing with insurance companies with the prime objective of maximising their entitlements.
Aaron understands the complex nature of the workers compensation field and the stress and anxiety it can cause. He does his utmost to alleviate the concerns of the injured workers through this process and to assist them in regaining their health and confidence.
He explores all avenues of compensation entitlements such as lump sum payments, income maintenance and homecare assistance.
Aaron’s extensive and in-depth knowledge of the Return to Work Act 2014 makes him our ‘go to man’ on all things relating to work injuries.
Recognition & Memberships
Aaron graduated from Flinders University after completing a Bachelor of Law and Legal Practice and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2012.
Aaron is a member of the Law Society of South Australia.
Prior to joining Paul Alvaro Lawyers, Aaron worked as a volunteer in a community legal service for unrepresented parties.
Aaron Clift is an experienced personal injury lawyer who specialises in workers compensation law. Aaron commenced with Paul Alvaro Lawyers in 2013 as a Paralegal. In 2014 he gained a position as a lawyer and was promoted to Associate in 2018 and subsequently Senior Associate in 2022.
