Vanessa Piniotti

Vanessa Piniotti is an experienced personal injury lawyer, specialising in motor vehicle accident claims. She leads the Paul Alvaro Lawyers Motor Vehicle Accident Team.

Vanessa commenced her legal career as a Solicitor at Mahony’s Lawyers where she was employed from 2007 until June 2009. During this time her practice extended to motor vehicle accident and workers compensation claims, criminal law, family law and wills.

In July 2009, Vanessa commenced a position with Donaldson Walsh Lawyers, which at that time provided legal services to the Motor Accident Commission through its claims agent, Allianz Australia SA CTP and, therefore, in this capacity she acted for the insured (or offending party) in relation to motor vehicle accidents.

In September 2010, Vanessa joined Paul Alvaro Lawyers as a Solicitor. She has received several promotions over the years and is currently recognised as Special Counsel.

Areas of Expertise

Over the course of her career, Vanessa has represented injured persons in both the Magistrates Court of South Australia and the District Court of South Australia and prepared matters for Trial.  She has represented a range of claimants who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents including those that have been catastrophically injured to those with more minor yet permanent injuries.

She is also highly experienced in handling those claims involving minors or persons under a disability.

Vanessa is enthusiastic, highly motivated and resourceful with a strong personal work ethic. She has a proven ability to provide sound legal advice and exercises strong dispute resolution skills.

However, Vanessa’s strongest asset is her ability to resonate with everyday people and provide support, compassion and empathy during a difficult and challenging time. Her client service is exceptional because her client’s interests are at the forefront of everything she does.

Recognition

Vanessa graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Arts (Politics) in 2002 and a Bachelor of Laws in 2006. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2007 and she is also an Accredited Mediator.

Vanessa has been recognised by Doyles Guide as a recommended Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation (Plaintiff) Lawyer for South Australia in 2019 and 2020.
